What LUX is
LUX is a neutral online directory where verified independent adults (18+) in London, Birmingham and Manchester can publish a profile. LUX is not an agency and does not employ, manage, represent or recommend any advertiser.
We do not arrange meetings, take bookings, process payments between visitors and advertisers, offer messaging or publish reviews. Any contact happens off-platform, using the method an advertiser chooses to publish.
Who can use LUX
You must be 18 or over to use LUX. Visitors can browse without an account. Only advertisers have accounts.
- One account belongs to one verified person and may hold one profile.
- Agencies, managers, duos and multi-profile accounts are not permitted.
- Northern Ireland locations are not available.
Advertiser responsibilities
Advertisers must complete identity and age verification, keep their profile accurate, re-verify with a selfie every 90 days and follow our posting guidelines. All content is reviewed by a moderator before it is published, and edits stay hidden until they are approved.
What is not allowed
- Explicit or nude images, or explicit sexual language.
- Lists of sexual acts, prices for acts or any description of what happens in a meeting.
- Nationality or ethnicity used as a selling point in your text. Use the optional ethnicity field instead - it is self-described and shown as a simple label.
- Drug-coded language or symbols.
- Photos that are not your own, or that carry third-party watermarks.
- Advertising on behalf of anyone else.
Moderation and enforcement
We use automatic checks to score risk, sort our review queue and block obvious violations. Automation never bans anyone: every suspension or ban is a decision by a trained member of staff, recorded in an append-only audit log. Suspended advertisers can submit one appeal, which a different staff member reviews.
Fees
LUX will charge advertisers a simple listing fee in the future. We will never charge per contact or per meeting, and visitors are never charged. Billing is not active in this prototype.

Advertisers are independent and responsible for their own conduct and contact arrangements. Please read our safety guidance before contacting anyone.
