About Brindleyplace and staying safe
Brindleyplace is Birmingham's canal-side quarter, a set of modern squares and restored warehouses around Gas Street Basin, the Ikon Gallery and the Symphony Hall, where the Birmingham Canal meets the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. It is busy with diners and concert-goers in the evening and a few minutes' walk from New Street station. The towpaths are beautiful but can be dark and isolated after sunset; use the lit squares and Broad Street at night and take care near the water. Arrange to meet any contact in a public, well-lit place first and agree how you will leave. LUX lists only independent advertisers who have completed identity and age verification and re-verify every 90 days, and nothing goes live without moderator approval. We do not provide messaging, reviews or bookings and we never charge visitors. If you notice anything that suggests someone is being controlled or advertised by a third party, report it to LUX and consider calling the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700.
